Tijuana MX

I am so excited to be going to Tijuana Mexico. Mark Brookes, Oversear of BSSM's 1st year students, will be leading our group. Mark is just amazing! He is so on fire for God and goes to Tijuana frequently to minister. Last year God outrageously healed many and many more gave there hearts to the Lord. We will be minstering on Revolutionary Road which is filled with prostitution and drugs. There is also the dumps where many manage to get by day to day with little to no water. Last year the team saw what I refer to as "crazy" miracles. Many of you have heard me say to God I want to see "crazy" miracles, "crazy" experiences. Those things you hear about in third world countries.

My NEW BALANCE is $150.00. If you are interested in helping with this in any amount you may call Bethel Church at #530-246-6000 and ask for the missions department. If it is toward my tuition balance of $1900.00 ask for Stephanie Larson. You can make checks out to “Bethel Church” and mail them to me at 1710 Azoulay Court, Apt #9, Redding CA 96003. All donations to Bethel Church are tax deductible. Please make sure that you DO NOT put my name on the check or it will not be tax deductible, just attach a note with the check.

Thank you to all who have already given! Any gift amount is appreciated also to those who are praying, thank you, thank you.

Much love and blessings...Tricia Dowless

1/5/10 Heidi Baker at BSSM

January 5, 2010

Heidi Baker, Iris Ministries

This morning I woke up not feeling well. I have learned, go to school anyway because you will most likely be healed of whatever is bothering you. I am so glad I went, Heidi Baker shared about years ago, and that once she heard the voice of God everything changed in her life.

“God wants to put a destiny inside of you that no matter what comes against you, you cannot be shaken. He wants you to encounter Him and when you do you are going to get ripped. All the times God has asked something of you and you have said no, he will turn those “no’s” to “yes’s”. Do you want to work till exhaustion, pushing your way through? Lie down and let God take control because He wants to rock your world.

Don’t keep your vision too small. God is a BIG God!

The river flows to the low places as you lay your life down. Go as low as you can go, empty yourself out and receive from Him. Where the river flows, the garden grows.

What do you want to do with the rest of your life? God wants to blow your mind.”

We then entered worship and it was amazing! There are many days the worship just penetrates the very core of your spirit. Today I just lay out on the floor and soaked. As I was listening to the music the drums became intense and powerful. I saw a vision of Sudan and drums beating. I believed the Lord was showing me His heartbeat in the midst of that country. I had just talked with Michele Perry the day before about the possibility of going to Sudan this summer. I will see if those doors open.

All in all this turned out to be a good day.

There's a whole lot of shaking going on...

This past Friday night's service was full of laughter by many. Now most people may be bothered by this but how can you not roll with a holy laughter? It fills the entire sanctuary and continues like a wave over and over. Meanwhile, while doing some laughing of my own I was shaking and shaking. Whats up with this? I have seen others shake and thought hmmm thats nice but I do have to say sometimes I wonder whats really real and who is "faking" it. But I remember a time when Pastor Bill talked of what matters, if it isn't real it just shows that person is wanting more of God and out of their "faking" it, something is going to happen for the good.

Okay back to the shaking adventure. I was shaking through worship, then through the remainder of the service. The more I tried to stop or slow things down it got worse. (that should show you not to fight what the Holy Spirit is doing), I even got to the place where I was informing God that my legs and such were really begininng to feel tired. Nothing, no change.

Once the service was over there was the bright idea to have a fire tunnel. Now dont get me wrong, I love love fire tunnels, I was just trying to figure out how I was going to get through one, much less two!So here I go, bobbing along through the first round, okay that was really good, heading back to my seat I knew I was supposed to go to the other side for round two. Jason my Revival Group Pastor was shouting out look my whole group is here, and then I got through partially and I was down, oops up again, and down, and up. I made it out of the tunnel crawling to the first row seat and laid across it and couldnt move for about 30 minutes.

Healing! The Lord spoke to me "healing was taking place". At the time it felt as if I was exhausted after a wide voltage was going through me. The rest of the night I envisioned me dancing with my Father and there was such peace. I don't fully know how to explain what happened except to say there was an encounter where the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father collided.

Upon leaving, a girl followed me outside and said "the Lord wants you to know how much He really loves you and how proud He is of you". I began to cry because you see many dont know that I am afraid of missing God or disappointing Him.

He knows me, He knows you and all your Father wants is intimacy with you. He will work out the rest of the kinks that seem to trip us up or put us on the wrong path. I am slowly learning just how He actually sees us and how much He really loves us. Its not conditional or performanced based, its a heart matter. If all you can do right now is talk to Him the same as you would with your best friend, all else will work itself out. There is a level of trust that develops and you begin to allow your Father to lead you in the small things and before you know it those things that seemed so huge, begin to shrink and become less worrisome.

I pray that you have an encounter with your Father. It can be a few minutes or hours or days. Sometimes we dont feel like anything is happening but there is always something happening. Dont give up, He is right there beside you, arms opened wide waiting for you to just jump up into His lap and let Him love on you.

Blessings, Tricia

A Willing Vessel
September 28, 2009

This past week I have spent much of my time on my knees, praying out to my Daddy and wondering what is He doing in me. God says that He wil give us what we cry out to Him for and I have cried out for a hunger for Him that surpasses all my natural thinking. God has been healing pain I thought was healed. He is shaping and molding me to be what I need to be, to accomplishing the calling on my life. You see when you cry out in desperation for God to do whatever He needs to do because you are so hungry for more of Him, watch out. He will do it! I have felt like the taffy on the stretching machine to where it softens you up but keeps on stretching you till it's at the point of being at it's best. I was reading this week "The degree to which faith in God controls us, determines His Lordship in our lives. Faith is the power of the kingdom of God which sets men free to worship God in Spirit and truth. Fear rules men through external pressure and intimidation. Faith rules from the heart. In your everyday lives what rules you?"I recall one day in Charlotte when I saw this woman and she was covered in cysts all over her face and body. The Lord prompted me to pray for her and as I struggled with going up to a complete stranger and asking her if I could pray for her I made a deal with the Lord that if I came back across her when leaving the store I would pray for her. Well I didn't see her again and I knew I had missed God but mostly I missed giving the lady an opportunity to be totally healed because I didn't know what she would think of me. Now this happened many years ago but I still think of it to this day and wish I had the opportunity to have a "do over". Have you experienced times when you just kept quiet because of what someone may think about you? To what degree are you willing to allow God to stretch you? Do you allow those around you determine what or who you are? Is there pain in your life that just doesnt seem to end? There are so many questions we both can ask but it all comes down to how much are we going to allow our Father to change us into His image. To be that person that will allow God to do anything He has to do to fulfill that hunger we long for. I pray to my Father that He does whatever He needs to do to mold me into what I am destined to be, that I don't walk in fear of what others may think or the unknown, but that I keep my eyes on Him so that I may see His glory in action. I want to be a part of supernatural healings, to see my mountains supernaturally moved, I want REVIVAL Lord!!Do not "despise the day of small beginnings, you just may be the one to start one of the greatest moves of God of all time". "A World Aflame" by Rick Joyner

(I have dedicated a time period of each day of prayer so if you have prayer request please email them to me and I will include them during this time and as needed. )

Much Love, Tricia

Faithful Sapphire
Patricia Dowless
September 2009 Update

There has been so much happening here in Redding. Since being here I have learned about giving myself wholeheartedly to the Lord. How much you put into this time will be how much the Lord meets you on a new level. We have been learning about declarations and the importance of what you say over yourself and how that gives open doors to the enemy. There is a lot of homework, God work, and “knee” work.

God has obviously closed the doors to the jobs I had accepted and taking me through a time of not working and trusting Him for this day, not tomorrow but this very day. I have never had a problem getting a job and have always done well with them and now the Lord wants me to trust Him for all my needs. For me this is and isn’t hard. I know I deal with a lot of performance based issues and thought much of this had been taken care of but this past week the Lord has taken me to a much deeper level. It’s hard and it’s wonderful at the same time.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8

Every Saturday, Bethel opens up healing rooms. It is a time to soak in His presence and/or be prayed for healing. This past week blind eyes were open, a lady was totally healed from Fibromyalgia and scars were disappearing off of people. There is such a power in seeing these things over just hearing about them. Many are healed and there are those that are not. This still has taught me faithfulness, perseverance, and about never losing hope for your healing or situation.

This was the end of the first week of school and wow what a ride it has been. Sunday, the first day of registration I was turned away because I did not have the money for tuition. I returned Tuesday totally by faith, and much prayer (some whining) to find out two hours before the deadline, the Lord provided the funds for the minimum down payment. There is still a balance of $3100.00 for the tuition part and then $3000.00 for mission trip the first of the year.

I will be posting about various teachings, miracles and updates. You can go to Facebook.com, in my profile under “notes”, also, youtube.com (subscribe to “faithfulsapphire08”), or blogspot.com address is http://faithfulsapphire.blogspot.com/2009/05/new-beginnings-and-change.html. Where I am there you are there also and receiving the reward of it. There is no distance with the Spirit of God., so be ready to receive!

First and most important I need to be covered in prayer. If you would like to become an intercessor for this time in Redding, please let me know. I would like to form a group of prayer warriors that I can call on to intercede during this time. it is much appreciated! Please send me your prayer request and needs so I may pray over them also.

This past weekend during our time of giving our tithes and offerings, I gave $1.52. That was all the money I cleaned out of my purse. I didn’t have any more in my bank acct, in my car, or pockets. That was it. I really challenged God to move and when I returned to my seat, I was looking for some gum and I came across another $1.50. The next day I was given money for gas, a few dollars left over bought me a small amount of groceries. I am not telling you this so you will fill sorry for me, I am telling you this to show you that I was trusting God just for that day, and He brought me through it, with a happy tummy I may add. Be grateful in the small things and God will bless you even more in the bigger things.

I understand these are difficult times, if you want to make a difference in your life, to be blessed abundantly, would you consider supporting this ministry? If you can only give one, five or ten dollars, or maybe you are able to do much more. Whatever or how much you sow it will be returned to you seven fold. That is a promise from your Father! I can be your Bank of America where you collect the change in the jar and be blessed. I know the Lord is going to take care of me, but I would love to share this blessing with all of you. How awesome would that be?

There are two ways you can do so.
1- Call or send a check or money order to Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). You will need to place a note in the envelope for the check or money order for it to be tax deductible for you. Do not put my name on the actual check or it will not be tax-deductible.
2- If you want to help with my monthly bills please send a check to me directly

New Beginnings and Change

“In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

On Joseph’s journey, he didn’t know where he was going, but he knew where he could no longer stay where he was. Fortunately, we do know that he ended up in the palace…

When I was in Redding in October 2008, I knew California was my starting point. I can identify with Joseph. I know that my time for now in Charlotte, NC is coming to a close while the doors to California are opening. I know there is much ahead in store for me although I don’t exactly know how it is planned out. Last year I received a word that God was using me to connect the West coast to the East coast. I have been accepted to Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry at Bethel Church. (ibethel.org and ibethel.tv)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. “ Proverbs 3:5

2008 had definitely been a year of new beginnings and change. At the leading of the Lord, he opened the doors wide for me to go out to the west coast, Los Angeles “Dream Center” and to Redding, CA. It was a time of hearing His voice and learning there is a difference between having a heart for something and being “called” for something.

Many of you know the last few years has been challenging for me in many different ways. Multiple surgeries, the financial strain that resulted from lost time at work, chronic pain from Fibromyalgia, and my father’s death were some of the challenges that I faced.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“ Isaiah 41:10

Ministry has been a part of my life; although recently I knew change was coming. I would see and hear messages confirming what He was saying. In the natural, I can’t see how this can happen, but there comes a point that I have to trust Him for that next step. That is where I am. The bottom line is that there is a fear of the unknown, the letting go of my thoughts and ideas of what things should look like. I can sit here and tell you where my heart is but the bottom line is I don’t know what is ahead in this journey God is taking me. What I am looking forward to reaping from this season at BSSM is to be a part of a culture of honor, advancements in prophetic art and photography, emotional and physical healing, and to soak in all that He has and pass that onto others.

I would like to send you “Updates” through email (blogspot.com) and video to keep you up to speed of all God is doing. If you would like to sow into what God is doing in my life and ministry, please prayerfully consider doing so! What a great leap of faith this is!

“..it’s written, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him” I Corinthians 2:9

What is needed?

Prayer support: Those willing to commit to intercession and to communicate any words that the Lord may give you.

Finances: My friend, Roxy Sweatt, and I will be driving across country from the Carolinas to California. We will be leaving August 3rd, 2009. The drive will take about 4 to 5 days. The trip will cost approximately $750 for gas, hotel accommodations, food, and drink. Entertainment will be free as Roxy will be travelling with me…

Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry is $3,600 and $3,000 for a mission’s trip during the school year. $1800 is due by September 15th, 2009. If you want to help with this you can make it payable to BSSM, and it will be tax deductible. (place my name on a slip of paper, but not on the actual check or it will not be considered tax deductible). You also have the option of calling them and givng them a debit card or credit card over the phone. Please make sure you tell them who the amount is for or it will go into a general school fund.

Personal/ Family: We are responsible for our own housing and personal needs, not to forget the responsibilities I still have in Charlotte. The first year of Bethel is intense, and Redding is a small town. With that combination is can be difficult to find work with the school schedule at BSSM. So I am praying for favor with a job, and God to provide for my monthly expenses. If you would like donate towards living expenses, they will be about $500 per month.

I am planning to return home for Christmas and Spring break throughout this school year, primarily because of Michael. Michael is my son that has Down syndrome. Daniel, Elise and Angela understand what I am doing and where I will be, but the greatest challenge is Michael understanding. If you know of someone that works for an airline that is willing to provide a buddy pass for this or want to assist in this it would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent time adjusting to major changes. As many of you know Michael now lives in an AFL (Alternative Family Living) home. His caretakers are a Christian couple that came in God’s timing. He’s doing very well. Elise married a wonderful man, Ross Smith in May 08. It blesses me to see his love for her and how the Lord orchestrated everything. Daniel will be living in the house while I’m away as he is attending his last year of college and Angela is living in the University area and looking for new employment since losing her job with Wachovia.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to sharing this journey with you. May God richly bless you. Please share your needs also so I may cover you in prayer.
Blessings, Patricia “Tricia” Dowless
