September 2009 Update

There has been so much happening here in Redding. Since being here I have learned about giving myself wholeheartedly to the Lord. How much you put into this time will be how much the Lord meets you on a new level. We have been learning about declarations and the importance of what you say over yourself and how that gives open doors to the enemy. There is a lot of homework, God work, and “knee” work.

God has obviously closed the doors to the jobs I had accepted and taking me through a time of not working and trusting Him for this day, not tomorrow but this very day. I have never had a problem getting a job and have always done well with them and now the Lord wants me to trust Him for all my needs. For me this is and isn’t hard. I know I deal with a lot of performance based issues and thought much of this had been taken care of but this past week the Lord has taken me to a much deeper level. It’s hard and it’s wonderful at the same time.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8

Every Saturday, Bethel opens up healing rooms. It is a time to soak in His presence and/or be prayed for healing. This past week blind eyes were open, a lady was totally healed from Fibromyalgia and scars were disappearing off of people. There is such a power in seeing these things over just hearing about them. Many are healed and there are those that are not. This still has taught me faithfulness, perseverance, and about never losing hope for your healing or situation.

This was the end of the first week of school and wow what a ride it has been. Sunday, the first day of registration I was turned away because I did not have the money for tuition. I returned Tuesday totally by faith, and much prayer (some whining) to find out two hours before the deadline, the Lord provided the funds for the minimum down payment. There is still a balance of $3100.00 for the tuition part and then $3000.00 for mission trip the first of the year.

Where I am there you are there also and receiving the reward of it. There is no distance with the Spirit of God., so be ready to receive!

First and most important I need to be covered in prayer. If you would like to become an intercessor for this time in Redding, please let me know. I would like to form a group of prayer warriors that I can call on to intercede during this time. it is much appreciated! Please send me your prayer request and needs so I may pray over them also.

This past weekend during our time of giving our tithes and offerings, I gave $1.52. That was all the money I cleaned out of my purse. I didn’t have any more in my bank acct, in my car, or pockets. That was it. I really challenged God to move and when I returned to my seat, I was looking for some gum and I came across another $1.50. The next day I was given money for gas, a few dollars left over bought me a small amount of groceries. I am not telling you this so you will fill sorry for me, I am telling you this to show you that I was trusting God just for that day, and He brought me through it, with a happy tummy I may add. Be grateful in the small things and God will bless you even more in the bigger things.

I understand these are difficult times, if you want to make a difference in your life, to be blessed abundantly, would you consider supporting this ministry? If you can only give one, five or ten dollars, or maybe you are able to do much more. Whatever or how much you sow it will be returned to you seven fold. That is a promise from your Father! I can be your Bank of America where you collect the change in the jar and be blessed. I know the Lord is going to take care of me, but I would love to share this blessing with all of you. How awesome would that be?
